Women among four killed in Balochistan

QUETTA: At least four people among a woman were killed and seven sustained injuries in various incidents in the province on Monday.
According to Police, following domestic issues, a girl in Quetta’s Killi Ismael committed suicide after consuming poisonous syrup on Monday.
Police and rescue workers rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Civil Hospital for autopsy where doctor confirmed she died after consuming poisonous syrup.
Police have lodged the First Information Report of the incident adding the girl went to end her life due to domestic issues.
Meanwhile a body was found from Sakran area of Industrial City Hub on Monday who were shot dead by unidentified men.
The body had been shifted to District Headquarter Hospital for medical legal procedure and kept for identification. Police confirmed that unknown armed persons killed him and dumped his body in a desolated area.
However another decomposed body was found from Killi Faizo area of District Pishin who were identified as Alamgir resident of Mezai Adda.
Police said, unknown persons killed Alamgir and dumped his body in mountainous area adding we have lodged the FIR of the incident and investigations are underway.
Following a firing incident in Quetta’s Hazara Town a man named Shabir Ahmed was injured after gunmen opened firing on him on Monday.
Police and rescue workers rushed to the spot and shifted the body to BMC Hospital for medical treatment.
“Initial investigation suggests that the incident occurred due to personal enmity but we have launched investigation.” Police added.
In another coal mine incident in Pishin a coal mine worker named Abdul Rasheed was killed as a mud slide caved in the coal mine. Rescue workers reprieved the body and shifted to Afghanistan for burial.
At least four children were injured in an accident occurred in Quetta’s Saryab Road and shifted to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.
