Lady doctor rips apart baby’s head, body

QUETTA: A lady doctor on Monday ripped apart the head and body of a baby during obstetric hours in Muslim Bagh, on Wednesday, leaving body inside the mother’s womb while head in her hands.
The body, however, was later removed through surgical intervention in Quetta’s Civil Hospital. The father of the baby claimed that administration of the Civil Hospital Quetta refused to give medical report to him.
Baby’s father rushed to Quetta Press Club along with body and head of the dead baby to lodge his protest. The relatives of the child protested and demanded action against the said lady doctor.
Talking to media, the resident of Muslim Bagh Abdul Nasir told that his wife was pregnant and was taken to Dr. Alia Naz Taran’s private clinic who demanded 10,000 fee, saying that the delivery case would be normal and she would handle it.
The lady doctor, he said, ripped apart head and body of his baby who had yet to see the light of the day in lust for power, adding after the body of the baby remained inside the womb, she advised us to take her to Civil Hospital Quetta for surgery. Hence, the patient was shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta where the body was taken out of the womb following surgical intervention.
Father of the baby has appealed to Chief Justice Pakistan, Governor and CM Balochistan to provide him justice.
According to the local journalists based in Killa Saifullah, the said lady doctor is also working on the position of Deputy District Health Officer but she never attends government hospital apart from polio campaigns and runs her private clinic.
Meanwhile, Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan Alauddin Marri has taken serious notice of the matter and ordered high level investigation into the matter.
When contacted, the Caretaker Provincial Health Minister Dr. Faiz Kakar has said that he was going to Civil Hospital in person to investigate the matter and after delving deep into the matter, strict legal action would be taken against the responsible elements.
