PTI, BNP-M agree on 6 point formula in Centre

QUETTA: Pakistan Tehriek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Balochistan National Party-Mengal signed 6 point written agreement here on Wednesday which has secured BNP-M’s support for PTI candidates in National Assembly for Prime Minister, Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
Addressing to a joint press conference here at Mengal House on Wednesday night, Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi and BNP-M Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal announced the agreement.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Akhtar Mengal said that the promises made with the people of Balochistan for the last 70 years went unfulfilled and this is for the first time BNP-M is signing a 6 point agreement with PTI which includes the recovery of missing persons, implementation of National Action Plan, the quota of Balochistan in the federal government, and resolution of the issues of Afghan refugees immediately. He further said that apart from these six points, other matters have also been deliberated upon, adding that since this time it is a written agreement, they hope it shall be implemented by PTI government when in power.
He said that this alliance with PTI is only at the level of centre, adding PTI would be given full space to act upon the agreement. He said that if the agreement is not implemented in the future, they would think over it. He said that they have an alliance with JUI in Balochistan and they would continue to go with the alliance at provincial level. He said that the government which has come into existence should complete its five years and deliver upon all the promises that it has made with the masses.
Speaking on the occasion, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that there no differences over the nomination of CM in KP and whoever Imran Khan would nominate, he would be acceptable for all. He said that Sardar Akhtar Jan is respectable for them and they have durable terms with him, adding that all the promises made with him would be fulfilled.
