Uzbek man killed, seven family members injured in Quetta ambush

QUETTA BalochstanExpress: One person was killed and seven other injured of a family in firing by unknown armed men at Nawan Killi bypass area, late on Friday night.
Police sources said that eight member of an Uzbek family was coming back from Hanna Urak area after picnic and when they reached at the Nawan Killi bypass unknown armed men opened indiscriminate fire on their vehicle in which they were travelling.
As result of firing one person was killed on the spot and seven others injured. Soon after the incident, police and personnel of Frontier Corps rushed to the site and shifted the body and injured to civil hospital.
“Armed men opened fire on the vehicle from three sides they were waiting to attack,” police officials said, adding that the deceased was identified as Wali Muhammad. The injured include Ainullddin, Naik Muhammad, Noor Muhammad, Muhammad Asif, Muhibullah, Muhammad Zakir and Muhammad Akbar.
Police has registered a case against unknown armed men and started investigation. Security forces also launched a search operation in the area to trace out the attackers.
