CCTV cameras to be installed at entry and exit points


26/02/18   QUETTA Balochistan Express: A high level meeting, which presided over by the Provincial Minister for Environment and Information Technology, Prince Ahmed Ali Ahmedzai, reviewed the Quetta Safe City Project, here on Sunday.
The Minister was informed by the concerned officials that CCTV cameras would be installed at six entry and exit point of the provincial capital for monitoring movement of the coming and outgoing vehicles.
The meeting also reviewed the proposed points for installation of 1400 CCTV cameras under the Quetta-safe city project.
The Inspector General Police, Balochistan Moazzam Jah Ansari and Director Quetta Safe City Project, DIG Akbar Nasar briefed Prince Ahmed Ali Ahmedzai about the measures so far taken for launching the project. They also informed him about different aspects of the project.
They also pointed out that in which areas steps were needed for maintaining law and order and discussed proposed schemes for the traffic management and preparation for dealing emergency situation.
Mr. Ahmedzai while speaking at the meeting said that the Chief Minister is very keen for the implementation on Quetta- Safe City project for make the provincial capital safe and protection of the people.
He said that restoring peace an order was top priority of the current government and it will take all measures to fulfill its responsibility in this regard.
Secretary information Technology, Dr. Aftab Baloch, Additional IG, Ch. Manzoor Sarwar, DIG Quetta Range, Abdul Razzaq Cheema and other concerned officials also attend the meeting.
